Underlying Symptoms

When it comes to mental health in the workplace, the numbers don’t lie.

Coronavirus has revealed that in our nation, the numbers are ugly. The reality is that we are severely under-prepared to serve our burgeoning mental health crisis.

“We need to accept that mental illness, like any other chronic illness, will become debilitating if it is left unaddressed…To ignore the symptoms will only lead to more self-destructive behaviors and ultimately to a greater downturn in workplace productivity.”says mental health expert Stephen W. Smith.

Workplace productivity is important, but mental illness is critically important.
