I think we will always remember Easter 2020. Across the world, the body of Christ was quarantining at home and watching church online. Churches made quick pivots to make their virtual Easter services engaging and effective. While I am grateful for the digital innovation that was catalyzed during that season, I am also grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the risen Savior in person with my loved ones this year.
Whether or not you continue to watch church online, the reality stands: digital ministry is here to stay. I am extremely proud of how our OneHope team continues to adapt to and adopt new digital mediums to reach the next generation with God’s Word. One of those new digital mediums comes out of our partnership with LUMO.
LUMO is a stunning visual translation of the four Gospels. We use their footage to create OneHope Youth Films that bring God’s Word to life on screen for children and youth around the world. This year, LUMO has created an Easter experience for families and churches like yours.
Using video to transport you back to Jesus’ time, the LUMO Easter Experience gives you a birds-eye view starting with the triumphal entry and ending with the empty tomb. This unique visual experience uses word-for-word narration from Scripture and makes you feel like you’re part of the unfolding story of Easter.
Thank you for CYW – it continues to be a profound experience.
