Cryptocurrency is Changing Everything

When people ask me what I’m thinking about these days, I say “cryptocurrency”. 80% of those sitting across from me start laughing. This isn’t a laughing matter – in fact, it’s far too important of a topic for any leader not to be thinking about.

According to a recent report from Facts and Factors, the global cryptocurrency market was estimated at 793 million USD in 2019 and is expected to reach 5.1 billion USD by 2026. That means, “the global Cryptocurrency Market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 30% from 2019 to 2026.”¹ If your organization, business, or family isn’t looking into how you can leverage cryptocurrency to build your mission, you’re already behind.

This topic is new to everyone, and I am by no means an expert. However, I am committed to going on the journey to discover what potential lies in this new frontier. As a ministry leader, I’m asking questions like “How will this change the face of global economic development?” and “How can we utilize cryptocurrency to better steward gifts from our financial partners?”.
