The Activating Leader

In short, without Activating Leaders, nothing really gets done. Activators are masters at reverse engineering. They help make the practical plan to get from point A, the vision, to Z, the successful end-goal. Unlike the Catalytic Leader, Activating Leaders tend to be far from the spotlight. 

Activating Leaders are like the builders, the hands that make up the larger whole of the body. They are often skilled at operational, financial, or management responsibilities. Even if you’re a Strategic or Catalytic Leader, you need someone with the Activating competencies on your side.

At OneHope, the Executive Team consists of three members – myself, my dad, and long-time friend Marwan Rifka. Of this trio, Marwan serves as the Activating Leader in his role as the Executive Vice President. He brings his previous management experience as a successful executive in the business world to OneHope and helps turn visionary goals from the team into concrete plans. This operational acumen is combined with a genuine care to see each staff member succeed at their role. Marwan isn’t often found in the limelight, but he’s invaluable to the way OneHope operates.  

If Catalysts are the willpower. Activators are the way power. They implement how to get to the end goal. They are the hands and feet of the enterprise.
